Tidigt nyårsafton träffade vi några av Aslas barn och Awenas dotter och deras ägare för en härlig morgonpromenad i Falsterbo.

Några dagar senare träffade vi Aslas söner Saros och Bosse för en mysig morgon promenad i kaninland :):)

Tyvärr hade vi ingen kamera med oss den morgonen :(

Early new years eve we went for a morning walk with our girls and som ghalidogs and their owners :)

It was Asla, Awena, Safir, Sighsten, Brunette, Cenna and her big sister Winnie.

A few days later we met Saros and Bosse for a morningwalk, but unfortunately we had no camera with us :(

They had so much fun together and they will try to meet more often. It was in July we met Cratos when we were invited

to a very nice BBQ at Ad´s place :) so we really enjoyed to see all the pictures of him and his sister.

Dogs from us who participated this day was: Caspian, Bosse, Jamba, Safir and Awena.

First out was Awenas son Caspian, he won the junior class Excellent 1

Then it was time for best male and Caspian made it all the way to 2nd best male and got his first CAC! only ten months old.

I have both of my girls in best bitch class:) so I asked Caspians mum Anneli if she could be so kind and

help me show Safir. Because I had no expectations for Safir this day. So I was happily surprised when Safir

was picked out in the top 5 and made it all the way to 2nd best bitch with CACIB!

The winner was a junior so the CACIB went to Safir :) thank you Anneli

First out was Primus in the Champion class, it was our debut together. He got Excellent

Swedish Kennel Clubs International Show in Ronneby - 090810

This day was incredibly hot, too much for my taste, I was soaked wet.

Even Safir who always is playfull in the ring :) was affected by the heat.

It was a long time now, since Asla have been shown at an exhibition, almost a year.

Asla don´t think that exhibitions are that fun, she prefer to hunt rabbits :) but since it was long ago, we thought

that she would think it would be fun.

She shows very clearly when she thinks something is boring, and that she thought this day.

Well the judge liked Asla very much, but because he thought she was too heavy he gave her a blue ribbon :(

I agree, she needs to lose a little weight :) and we are working on that.

Sweet Awena

On friday evening we were invited to a BBQ at Ad´s place ( Cratos owner ) in Streefkerk.

He lives about 15 minutes from our hotel. Some of Ad´s friends and relatives were also invited and Edith and Henk

from Kennel Paerdecroon. We had a very nice evening with good food, drinks and laugh.

It was a beautiful house and so was the surroundings and we enjoyed the company greatly, and of course it was so fun to see Cratos and Ad again.

Early on saturday morning we drove to the Internationel dog show in Echt (NL). It took about one and a half hour to get to the exhibition.

Since we got there quite early we had time to relax for a few hours before it was our turn. It was 50 ridgebacks entered.

We had great company at ringside :) with Wendy and Micha how have a son from Lex called Maliki :) and there were Henk and Edith from Kennel Paerdecroon

how also have puppies from Lex :) and of course Iva and Marcel, Xolas owner.

We also have a great talk with Maria and Robban from Sweden :)

The weather was terrible hot, it was over 30 degrees!

First out was Iva and Xola, and they did great :) Xola was Best puppy! we are so proud of you.

Then it was time for me and Safir to enter the juniorclass, it was a big class 10 bitches and Safir won the juniorclass with excellent 1 :)

I was worried that the judge didn´t like Safirs playfullness but luckilly for us she did :)

Awena was 2nd best champion bitch with excellent 2 :) then it was time for best bitch. After some running the judge picked out Safir as 2nd

best bitch with Res. CAC and Awena was 4th best bitch :)

We are incredibly pleased with how our girls performed this hot day, and can only congratulate Maria to Nikes INTUCH title :)

Then it was time for Xola and me to show up in the big ring :) Xola behaved well and ran nicely despite the heat, unfortunately the judge didn´t

like us. Thank you all for a nice day :)

After a long, nice and hot show day, we went back to the hotel. The dogs had some food and rest in the shade.

And we took a cold shower before we go to eat a good dinner in the hotel. After the dinner we went back to our room, and packed

the last of our things, and went to bed.

Early next morning we started our long way home to Sweden :) thank you Iva and Marcel for a fantastic weekend :) we will come back!
